Homemade Pumpkin Spice Creamer

I  just love the changing of the seasons! Don’t you? Especially from summer to fall. Autumn is my favorite season. I enjoy the cooler weather it brings and all the tasty fall recipes! I enjoy baking with all things pumpkin and apple ( it makes your house smell amazing ) and so I wanted to give you my first fall recipe for this year and I could not be more excited to share with you a pumpkin spice creamer recipe for your coffee!

This is made with real pumpkin puree and not just pumpkin flavoring. I like pumpkin flavored coffee in the cooler mornings and now I can have it at home without going to the coffee shop! This recipe consists of pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Oh, and don’t forget the cream! If you want to go a little lighter ( which most of the time I do ) you can use half and half or whole milk, but using the cream does give you the richest texture. This Homemade Pumpkin Spice creamer is the perfect blend of fall for your morning cup of joe! Also, this is easy and inexpensive. Nothing could be so pure simple and good. Go ahead and add it to your morning coffee and I think you will be addicted too!

Homemade Pumpkin Spice Creamer

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups of heavy cream, half and half or whole milk

2 Tablespoons pumpkin puree

2 Tablespoons of maple syrup

1/2 -1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice

1-2 cinnamon sticks

Directions

1. In a small saucepan over medium heat whisk together the cream, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice and maple syrup. Add in the cinnamon sticks and bring to a boil. whisk occasionally for a minute. Take it off the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes in the pan before adding it to your coffee ( add sugar to your coffee if you want ir more sweet or stevia ).

2.  This will store in the refrigerator for up to a week. Shake before each use.
