Simple Pear Maple Smoothie
I usually only have frozen bananas and it works great, but the original recipe calls for it just to be ripe. Also, make this smoothie green by adding a cup of spinach and a pinch of cinnamon is yummy too!
1 banana, peeled and broken in half
1 very ripe pear, cored and cut into chunks
1 cup of plain Greek yogurt
1 cup ice
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- Puree banana, pear, yogurt ,ice, milk, and syrup in a blender on high speed for about a minute or until completely smooth.
- 2 Divide into 2 glasses and serve immediately.
