Energy Bites

These are the perfect snack for school time. Easy to whip together and tastes way better than granola bars.

These have been around for a while and are not a new thing, but have you tried them? They are so adaptable to your family’s taste preference. These have become our favorite snack for summer time and school days. This recipe is perfect because they also freeze great too! Go ahead and quadruple the batch. You will be glad you did!

Our favorite way is just with the chocolate chips but you can use some cocoa powder or add some dried fruit or even nuts. Here are some flavor combos you can try

cocoa powder with apricots

pretzels and almonds

raisins and pecans

peanuts and m&m’s

coconut and chocolate chips

The options are really limitless. If you don’t have honey then use maple syrup. Also, you can use all oatmeal if you don’t have ground flax seed.
